The vision was to build on the success of their award-winning Gen1 & Gen2 products to create an unshakeable, comfortable, and gear-compatible physical product for athletes who demand zero compromises.
As the industrial design and mechanical engineering partner for a third consecutive generation, 4DESIGN guided the project’s physical development from strategic refinement through to final design for manufacturing. Our deep, collaborative partnership involved extensive ergonomic research and mechanical prototyping to solve the complex challenges of creating an earphone that remains perfectly stable during intense motion, like running or mountain biking.
The final product represents the pinnacle of athletic audio technology. The industrial design delivers an unshakeable fit, intuitive physical controls, and a fully waterproof and sweatproof enclosure for the advanced electronics within.
